- Denotation of a Theme tune connotes class of the characters involved in the show.
- Denotations of noises from the animals which is called 'Foley'  this is created live in the studio so for things like horses about they would use two coconuts hitting togethor.
- Denotations of animals and wind connotes the idea of the location being outside this is called wild sound.
- Denotations of accent and dialect and pronunciation connotes that these people are farmers.
- The fact that the show has been around since 1950 connotes the idea that they will have a older audience as people who follow the show ill carry on watching it, however there is no expletives in the script, and there is a varied range of different people from working class to higher class people.
