Purpose – What is the purpose of this audio product? Does it entertain, Inform or instruct? How do you know it is for this purpose?	The purpose of this podcast is to entertain the audience, we know this from the denotations of the presentation right at the start of the podcast, also with the fact that we know he is a well-known comedian gives us kind of the information that he is going to be funny.  Another reason for this being informative as well as entertaining is because it is a music talk show. Another reason it is for the entertainment purpose because of the denotations of the time it is played which is during the morning which is the time when the last thing you want to hear is a bad news of all times in the day, which could connote the idea of them suggesting the show will give you a great start to your day.
Form & Style – What form does the product take (podcast, audiobook, audio manual etc.) What style is employed? Conversational, formal, informal etc.	The form of this is a podcast about his wife. The style of the podcast is set to be conversational as it feels like you’re in a conversation with him as well as the people he’s talking to, as there is a bunch of different views so you are bound to agree with one sided. The fact that there is also a male and a female is also helpful as it helps relate to both the male and the female sides of the audience as they have quite lengthy discussions, so you need to keep both on side with the argumentative side of the discussions. The discussions were getting the audience involved in the chats like when they said 'text in if you have a soup maker' like they are trying to get them on side with one, so in a way by either texting or not you are siding with one of the presenters which kind of makes this informal but conversational.
Content – What is in this audio product, what does it deliver to the audience.	It delivers entertainment and information when they have discussions about things they have heard about and know about. It also has denotation of opinions on things on the television which you have probably opinions on for example when Jen says ‘stay away from cops and robbers’ in contrast to what Toby and Andy say, creating an heated discussion which connotes the idea of the presenters trying to get the listeners involved to take sides with the presenters.
Meaning – What does the product convey in terms of meaning, does it seek to influence or engage the listener in thought.	It engages audiences by getting them to call in with thoughts of the conversation they are talking about, for example they ask people to text in if they have a soup maker, to try and engage in their conversation of having a soup maker. As well as engaging and entertaining them with the show they are also informing them as well as making them familiar with the personalities of themselves like when Toby was telling the audience about him and his wife, its a totally personal happening but made it into something.
Genre – What genre does it belong to? How can you tell?	It belongs to the entertainment genre as well as talk show and breakfast as its purpose is to entertain, its audience as well as to engage the audience in their discussion y getting them to ring in and text in as well as being able to tweet them during the show.
Target audience – Who are the target audience? What demographic do they come under? What does any RAJAR data tell us about this group?	The show is on 7:00 till 9:00 which quite well shows you who his target audience are as people who would generally be tuned in to the radio at this time would be people on the school run or people on their way to work listening to the radio on their travels in the ca, also the fact that there are three people presenting the show, Toby, Andy, and Jen broadens the gender range of the audience and helps it target a broader range of the audience.
Frequency – How often is the audio product available/updated? What is significant about the frequency.	The show is on every weekday for 2 hours between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00, you can subscribe to the podcasts for free when they have new ones uploaded and updated on zune, iTunes, RSS and yahoo.
Production process – Where and how is the product produced? How is it made available for consumption?	The podcast is available for free on the BBC website to listen to, however they are not podcast of every show for two hours they are just the best bits of the show the connotes the idea of the podcast being interesting.
